1. Definitions

"We", "Us", "Our" refers to Mind Core Fitness. "You", "Your" refers to you, the user. "Services" refers to the Core Buddy web application, Core HIIT app, any other Mind Core Fitness apps, personal training, online coaching, fitness programmes, and any other services we provide. "Core Buddy" refers to our fitness application. "Core HIIT" refers to our HIIT interval timer application. "Our Apps" refers collectively to Core Buddy, Core HIIT, and any future applications published by Mind Core Fitness.

2. Use of Our Services

By using our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You are in adequate physical health to participate in fitness activities, or have received clearance from a medical professional
• You will provide accurate and complete information when requested
• You will use our services for lawful purposes only

3. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Before starting any fitness programme with Mind Core Fitness, you should consult with a healthcare professional if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns. Inform us of any health conditions that may affect your ability to exercise safely. Stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

You acknowledge that participating in physical exercise involves inherent risks. You agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of using our services.

General guidance, not medical advice. Information, workouts, nutrition guidance, and wellness content provided through our services is general in nature and intended for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace the advice of a qualified medical professional, GP, physiotherapist, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare provider. Always seek the advice of your GP or another qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or before starting any exercise or nutrition programme.

Consult your GP before starting. We strongly recommend you consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise or nutrition programme offered through our services, and particularly if you: have any pre-existing medical condition (including but not limited to heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, joint problems, or mental health conditions); are pregnant, postnatal, or trying to conceive; are recovering from injury or surgery; are taking prescription medication; or have not exercised regularly for a significant period of time.

Assumption of risk. You acknowledge that physical exercise carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, cardiovascular events, falls, and in rare cases serious injury. By using our services you voluntarily accept and assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mind Core Fitness, its founders, directors, employees, contractors, and associates shall not be liable for any injury, illness, worsening of an existing condition, or adverse outcome arising from your use of our services.

Qualified content and co-founder appearances. Fitness content, exercise methodology, and programme design within our services is developed under the direction of qualified personal trainers. Where co-founders, staff, or other non-qualified individuals appear in videos, onboarding material, marketing, or other content, they appear in their capacity as representatives of Mind Core Fitness and are not providing professional fitness, medical, nutritional, or other regulated advice. Any views they express are personal and for general informational purposes only.

Nutrition is general, not personalised. Any nutrition information, calorie targets, macronutrient guidance, meal suggestions, or food tracking features within our services are general and educational. They are not a personalised dietary plan and are not a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian or GP. If you have specific dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances, an eating disorder or history of disordered eating, diabetes, or any other medical condition that affects what you should eat, you must consult a registered dietitian or qualified medical professional before following any nutrition guidance provided through our services.

Stop if something feels wrong. Stop exercising immediately and seek urgent medical attention if you experience any warning symptom, including but not limited to: chest pain or pressure, pain radiating into the arm or jaw, severe shortness of breath, dizziness or light-headedness, fainting or near-fainting, nausea, severe or sudden joint or muscle pain, or any other symptom that feels abnormal or concerning. If in doubt, stop and seek medical advice. In a UK emergency, call 999.

Your self-screening declaration. By using our services you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, that you have considered your own fitness and medical history before participating, that you have consulted a qualified healthcare professional where appropriate, and that you agree to the recommendations set out in this section. You are solely responsible for monitoring your own physical condition during any activity undertaken through our services.

4. Personal Training and Coaching Services

For in-person personal training and online coaching:

• Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, otherwise the session may be forfeited
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason
• Programme content and materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed

5. Core Buddy App

Account: You must create an account to use Core Buddy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Free Plan: The free plan provides limited access, including 2 workouts per week. No credit card is required.

Paid Plans (Web): Monthly (£9.99/month) and Annual (£49.99/year) plans unlock all features. Prices are subject to change with notice.

Paid Plans (iOS & Android): Monthly (£9.99/month) and Annual (£49.99/year) plans. iOS subscriptions billed through Apple In-App Purchase. Android subscriptions billed through Google Play Billing.

Free Trials: Paid plans include a 30-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

6. Core Buddy Subscriptions and Payments

• All prices are in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated
• On the web, payments are processed securely through Stripe
• On iOS, payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase
• On Android, payments are processed through Google Play Billing
• Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You may cancel your web subscription at any time from your account settings
• To cancel an iOS subscription, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• To cancel an Android subscription, go to Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions

7. Core HIIT App

Purpose: Core HIIT is a HIIT interval timer designed to help you structure high-intensity interval training workouts.

Timer Modes: Core HIIT offers HIIT, Ascending, Descending, and Pyramid modes.

Local Data Storage: Timer configurations, workout history, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Health Disclaimer: HIIT workouts are high-intensity by nature. Consult a healthcare professional before beginning any HIIT programme.

Premium Plans: Monthly (£2.99/month), Annual (£14.99/year), and Lifetime (£19.99 one-time). Premium unlocks advanced timer modes, saved workout library, and detailed statistics.

8. User Content and Social Features

Core Buddy includes social features (the Buddies system). By using these features, you agree that:

• You will not post offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
• You will not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• You are solely responsible for any content you post
• We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these terms

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and within our apps, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, exercise demonstrations, workout programmes, and app interfaces, is the property of Mind Core Fitness and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mind Core Fitness shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, any loss or damage arising from your use of our services, any injury sustained during exercise or training activities, or any loss of data due to technical issues.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

12. Refer-a-Friend Prize Draw

Promoter: Mind Core Fitness (the "Promoter").

The prize: One winner per draw receives a 12-month Core Buddy premium subscription, applied directly to their Core Buddy account. Approximate retail value: £49.99. The prize is non-transferable, has no cash alternative, and cannot be exchanged for any other product or service.

Eligibility: Open to UK residents aged 16 or over with a valid Core Buddy account at the time of the draw. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.

How to enter:

• Referral entry: Each Core Buddy account holder receives one ticket in the next draw for every friend they refer who activates a 30-day free trial of a Core Buddy premium subscription. A "friend" for these purposes is a person who is not already a Core Buddy account holder at the time they use the referrer's code. There is no limit to the number of tickets a single entrant may earn through referrals.
• Free entry (no purchase necessary): Any eligible Core Buddy account holder may obtain one free ticket per draw, without referring anyone and without making or generating any purchase, by selecting the "Enter free — no purchase necessary" option on the refer screen within the Core Buddy app. A free entry must be claimed before the applicable draw date to be included. Free entrants receive the same odds and the same prize as referral entrants. Limited to one free ticket per account per draw.

Tickets are not redeemable for cash, transferable, or eligible for any prize other than the prize described in these terms.

Draw dates and cadence: Draws are held quarterly. The first draw takes place on 1 October 2026. Subsequent draws take place on 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October of each following year. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the cadence on at least 30 days' public notice via this page.

Ticket validity: A ticket entered for a given draw expires once that draw is held. It is not carried forward. If a referral is found to be fraudulent or invalid — for example involving a duplicate account, a self-referral, or an account created solely to generate referrals — the ticket for that referral is withdrawn before the draw.

Selection of the winner: The winner is selected at random from the pool of all valid tickets for the applicable draw, using an automated random-number selection process. The draw is administered by the Promoter and is final.

Notification of the winner: The winner will be notified by email to the address on their Core Buddy account within 7 days of the draw. The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within that period, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw a replacement winner from the remaining valid tickets for that draw.

Awarding of the prize: The 12-month premium subscription is added to the winner's Core Buddy account within 14 days of the winner confirming acceptance of the prize.

Publication: The Promoter may publish the winner's first name and the first initial of their surname (e.g. "Sarah M.") on the Core Buddy app, the Core Buddy website, and the Promoter's social channels once the prize has been claimed. The full name will not be published without the winner's prior written consent. The winner may opt out of any publication by replying to the notification email; in that case the Promoter will publish only that "a winner was selected".

Data: Personal data submitted as part of an entry is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and used only for the purpose of administering this draw and contacting the winner.

Tax: The prize is provided gross. Any tax or other liability arising from receipt of the prize is the responsibility of the winner.

Fraud and ineligibility: The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who, in the Promoter's reasonable opinion, has tampered with the entry process, created multiple accounts to generate referrals, or otherwise engaged in fraudulent activity. Duplicate accounts used to self-refer will be removed before the draw.

Liability: Nothing in these terms excludes the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, the Promoter's total liability in connection with this draw is limited to the retail value of the prize.

Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

No association with platforms: This draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, Meta, TikTok or any other platform on which Core Buddy is distributed or marketed.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
